Val
Rob's mum, who used to have a good sense of humour. Likes reading thrillers. Is energetic and adventurous. Doesn't like to be tied down too much! Works part time as a Programmer/Systems analyst.
Katie
Rob's brilliant sister Katie has kept us sane. She loves her brother. Whenever she has a wish it's always the same 'Please get Robert better' She loves music, and playing with friends.
Robert
Rob has a great sense of humour, enjoys being with his family more than anything else. Looks forward to Dad coming home from work so he can play silly devils with him!
Julie
Julie is my sister-in-law and was absolutely brilliant to us when we needed help. She came to stay for weeks at a time cooking for us and keeping us going. Julie jollied us along and took lots of notice of Katie when we were too exausted to bother.
Pat
I don't think we would have kept going without Pat, she has kept us sane with her cheerfulness and she is always willing to do anything to help. Thanks Pat you are a truely great friend.
Our family and friends
We are very lucky to have been supported by both our families and our friends have made a big effort to visit us as it's not always easy to find babysitters. They have listened to our hopes and fears and have given us the encouragement we have needed.
